Section 258
Not to make, possess or maintain counterfeiting goods
(1) No one shall make, repair, buy, sell, give or export or import or possess any instrument or any other article knowingly or having reasonable cause to believe that it is used in making or making counterfeit currency.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be imprisoned for up to seven years and fined up to seventy thousand rupees.
